TelVue’s HyperCaster (v8.10+) automates YouTube Live event scheduling by creating, managing, and streaming designated content directly to YouTube without manual intervention.
To get started, you must have the following licenses enabled on your HyperCaster AIO:
- AIO Streaming license
- YouTube Broadcast license
You will also need to configure:
- Streaming Encode profile
- A YouTube AIO streaming output
AIO Streaming output for YouTube Event
A new channel streaming output must be created to correspond with the YouTube Streaming event that will be using the Streaming Encode Profile from the HyperCaster. From the ProVue Outputs page, click the add
action to create a new Output. This will bring you to the New Output form.

Choose the desired Streaming Output settings. The Output fields are as follows, with detailed tooltips available for each field.
- Name: Enter a name for the output.
- ProVue: Internal ProVue will be automatically selected.
- Channel: Select the playback channel that the output will be streaming.
- Type: Select Streaming.
- Streaming Destinations: This will be left blank. The YouTube event feature does not require an additional destination to be added.
- Encode Profile: Select Streaming
- Autofade Time: Set the auto fade transition time in seconds between source transitions for the output. The default is 0 that means no auto fade transition is applied (hard cuts). The maximum value is 1 second. Fractional seconds are supported, such as 0.5.
- Crop Mode: When enabled for an SD output format, HD content played will be cropped to fit the 4:3 aspects ratio. When disabled for an SD output format, HD content will be letterboxed.
- Loudness: TelVue’s optional per-channel software license for CALM automatic loudness control. If your channel is licensed for loudness control, you can enable and configure CALM for this new output. If your channel is not licensed for loudness control, please contact sales@telvue.com.
Click Save to save your changes.
Once the YouTube Broadcast license has been enabled, you will see YouTube listed in the streaming category of the System Configuration page.

Selecting the YouTube option, brings you to the Accounts set up page, where you can add your YouTube account to your Hypercaster.

Use the
option, and follow the directions to Link your YouTube Channel

Once you have completed the prompts, you will get a confirmation message, and your YouTube account will now be listed as active.

Now that your account has been added, if you have other YouTube channels, those can be added following the same steps above.
