How long does TelVue Connect take to transcode a file?

After uploading, your file goes into a queue. Sometimes there may be videos ahead of yours. Once your video begins transcoding, the transcoding time for an SD, MPEG-2 TS Broadcast version will be roughly 1/2 the video’s duration. This time can vary significantly, depending upon a lot of factors in your uploaded video – resolution, bitrates, etc. – as well as current load on our transcoding cluster. Transcoding time may also be greater if your TelVue Connect account is configured for Hi-Def or H.264 transcoding.
