TelVue’s HyperCaster v9.2 automates Facebook Live event scheduling by creating, managing, and streaming designated content directly to Facebook without manual intervention.
To get started, ensure the following licenses are enabled on the HyperCaster AIO:
- AIO Streaming license
- Facebook Broadcast license
Configurations will be required for:
- Streaming Encode profile
- A Facebook AIO streaming output
AIO Streaming output for Facebook Event
A new streaming output must be created to correspond with the Facebook Streaming event that will be using the Streaming Encode Profile from the HyperCaster.
- From the ProVue Outputs page, click the add
action to create a new Output. This will open the New Output form.

- Choose the desired Streaming Output settings. The Output fields are as follows, with detailed tooltips available for each field.
- Name: Enter a name for the output.
- ProVue: Internal ProVue will be automatically selected.
- Channel: Select the playback channel that the output will be streaming.
- Type: Select Streaming.
- Streaming Destinations: This will be left blank. The Facebook event feature does not require an additional destination to be added.
- Encode Profile: Select Streaming
- Autofade Time: Set the auto fade transition time in seconds between source transitions for the output. The default is 0 that means no auto fade transition is applied (hard cuts). The maximum value is 1 second. Fractional seconds are supported, such as 0.5.
- Captions Type: If you are captioning on your channel during your Live event, then choose between Closed, Open, and In-Room.
- Crop Mode: When enabled for an SD output format, HD content played will be cropped to fit the 4:3 aspects ratio. When disabled for an SD output format, HD content will be letterboxed.
- Loudness: TelVue’s optional per-channel software license for CALM automatic loudness control. If the channel is licensed for loudness control, enable and configure CALM for this new output. If the channel is not licensed for loudness control, please contact sales@telvue.com.
- Click Save to save the changes.
Add Facebook accounts to the HyperCaster
Once the Facebook Broadcast license has been enabled, Facebook will be listed in the Streaming section of the System Configuration page.
- Select the Facebook option to bring up the Accounts set up page.

- Select the + Account button option and follow the directions to link a Facebook Page.

- Once completed, a confirmation message will display and the Facebook account will now be listed as active. The linked personal account and all managed Facebook Pages will be available for use.

NOTE: If streaming to a Page with less than 100 followers, this feature may not work.
