TelVue is pleased to announce the release of TelVue Connect™ & CloudCast™ 3.5 including new features and options for YouTube Export, Advanced AI Automations for automatic Summaries, Chapters, and Captions, and Paywall OTT support.
With the YouTube Export option, users have the option to export videos directly to any linked YouTube channel or playlist from Connect, streamlining distribution across broadcast, your website, mobile & OTT apps, and social media platforms. Individual and bulk exports can be initiated from the media tab, and powerful automations are available to save time and streamline publishing videos across various YouTube accounts and playlists when new videos are added to specific Connect Collections (playlist, series, category), or uploaded by a specific user. With HyperCaster integration, you can also fully automate publishing to YouTube from your playback via TelVue Connect.
Exporting to YouTube supports the standard YouTube video settings, metadata mappings, uploading captions (such as created by SmartCaption), and adding existing chapters as timed text links in the YouTube description (including AI-generated chapters). You can configure default YouTube Export settings for your entire Organization, or on a per Collection or User basis.
With the advanced Automations feature, you can streamline workflows across Collections (Playlists, Series, Categories), Users, or an entire Organization. Automations can save you time by eliminating the need for performing repetitive, manual tasks. Automations allow you to fully automate:
- SmartCaption caption generation & translation for VOD and Broadcast files.
- AI Metadata generation including Summaries and Chapters (Meeting Agendas, Sports Highlights).
- Exporting videos to YouTube accounts and playlists.
Examples of what the new Automations can do include:
- Automatically caption and translate any new video added to the “Weekly News” series.
- Automatically caption a specific series with a fine-tuned Custom Language Model.
- Automatically generate meeting summaries and agenda chapters for the “Town Council” playlist, and post to multiple YouTube channels.
- Automatically generate game summaries and highlight chapters for the “High School Football Season” series.
- Automatically export videos from a specific contributor to their YouTube account.
Your content is king, and the TelVue CloudCast Paywall option allows you to unlock new sources of revenue from your programming through customizable Subscription and Pay-Per-View packages. CloudCast OTT apps now support Paywall so you can offer a seamless “TV Everywhere” experience – register and purchase once on your website or any of the app platforms, and log in and watch on any as well. Note that Paywall OTT support requires setting up your own app store developer accounts, and re-publishing any existing CloudCast OTT apps. CloudCast Paywall supports flexible packages and vouchers, and reports including revenue, audience, and subscriptions.
