TelVue is pleased to announce the release of TelVue Connect™ & CloudCast™ 3.3 including the following key new features and options:
- Automatic Agendas & Metadata Generation Using AI for Government Meetings
- Site-wide Caption Transcripts and Chapters Search for CloudCast
Automatic AI-Generated Agendas & Metadata is an exciting new feature for Government Meeting streaming applications. The new, licensable AI feature automatically generates meeting summaries, as well as meeting agendas & key moments as video chapters. These are displayed to viewers in the CloudCast web player and mobile apps, and are fully searchable along with the caption transcripts. CloudCast has long supported video indexing and chapters, automatic caption generation, caption transcript search, as well as associating external agenda documents and related internet links with videos. Automatic Agendas & Metadata takes AI to the next level and saves you time by automating the summarization of meetings and generation of searchable and clickable highlights, all while helping to increase civic engagement, transparency, and content discoverability.
The automatically generated metadata and agendas can always be reviewed and edited if ever needed. Automatic AI Agendas & Metadata works for videos with existing captioning, or in conjunction with TelVue SmartCaption, that uses AI to automatically generate multi-language captioning. CloudCast and SmartCaption also help make Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance affordable and easy.

CloudCast search has been enhanced to support site-wide searching across all caption transcripts and chapters making it easier than ever for viewers to find and drill right into topics of interest in your meetings and programming. Previously, viewers could search captions for a specific video, but now they can search both captions and chapters across your entire video library. Search results conveniently highlight where matches are found whether in core metadata (i.e. titles, short summaries, descriptions), captions, or chapters, and how many times. Drilling into a video highlights where in the transcript and chapters the search terms appeared, with clickable time codes to jump right to that spot in the video.
